The City Council meeting addressed several key administrative and operational items. The council approved the corrected appropriations limit for the fiscal year 2026-27 following an identified historical calculation error. The meeting included the selection of a Chair and Vice Chair, progress reports from commissioners regarding their respective project assignments, and the consideration of nominees for Historical and Citizen Star awards. Additionally, the commission discussed coordinating a joint meeting with the Landmarks Commission and planning a tour of the Powerhouse site.
