The commission discussed an application by Jada Windows to expand the grading area for their project by creating a pad on an adjacent parcel, aimed at minimizing off-site hauling and associated environmental impacts. Approval was granted for the expansion, including an addendum to the project's environmental review. The commission also reviewed upcoming agenda items regarding city ordinances and heard brief reports on local community events.

The City Council meeting included updates on downtown construction projects, specifically regarding new public restrooms and parking lot improvements, as well as the implementation of Hometown Heroes banners. The council discussed the adoption of the Culture Forward 2026-32 arts and culture action plan.
