Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Atlantic is seeking market information for a potential Design-Bid-Build project to overhaul Dry Dock 2 Caisson at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine, to maintain certification. The work includes caisson seat extension and vertical extension of the existing caisson to provide continuous flood protection from Berth 6 through the caisson to Berth 5. Portions of the work will need to be performed with the caisson out of the water.

The project includes all design and construction necessary to renovate and modernize the eight (8) lane Bowling Center (Bldg. 485) to include replacement of the existing pinsetter unit with new pinsetter unit to include string bowling, electronic gaming area and food operation including all demolition, installation, renovation, temporary construction and restoration necessary to produce a complete and useable facility.
