The project will consist of the installation and maintenance of erosion and sedimentation control devices, lowering pond water surface (if necessary), establish a staging area, clearing and grubbing of existing trees, brush and other vegetation as necessary, grade the emergency spillway area, construct the new concrete emergency spillway including side walls, underdrains and dissipater blocks, refurbish the primary spillway by lowering each of the four weirs, replace new drain valves, install new trash rack, raise the crest of the dam, and fine grade, seed, and mat all disturbed areas after construction activities have been completed. Provide the owner with a topographic survey of all new reconstructed areas, maintain reservoir water elevation until "approval to impound" is acquired from the scdhec, and finally remove all equipment and materials from the project site.
