The Economic Development Strategic Plan for the City of Modesto aims to expand the city's economic focus, realign resources, and attract new investment. The plan outlines regional goals and objectives, and identifies strategies, projects, and programs aimed at improving water quality, quantity, and reliability. Key focus areas include water supply and demand, groundwater management, ecosystem restoration, water quality, wastewater and recycled water, stormwater and flood management, and climate change adaptation. The plan emphasizes integrating multiple resource management strategies to achieve multi-beneficial solutions across the region.
