This project consists of grading, installation of asphalt basketball court with goals and fencing, concrete sidewalk, lining of the playing surface, erosion control, landscaping, and extension of rcp pipe. The scope of work for this project consists of constructing a basketball court on the existing macc property. Contractor shall grade the site to proposed grades shown on drawings, install a 62' x 96' asphalt basketball court with goals and perimeter fencing. The work will include the following: 1. Add suitable fill material to grade court to proposed grade as shown on drawings. 2. Installation of approx. 85 lf of 36" rcp pipe including replacement of rip-rap required for pipe installation. 3. Relocation of existing underground telephone line around the court location. 4. Court shall consist of minimum 6" abc stone base and 2" s 9. 5 b surface course. 5. Provide 10' high galvanized black vinyl fencing system, 9 gauge fabric, 2" mesh with 3" od terminal posts, 2. 5" od in-line posts, 1. 5" od top rail, 7 gauge bottom tension wire, corner braces, truss rods, two single leaf gates (5' x 7' with transom), one double leaf gate (12' x 7' with transom) and all associated hardware. 6. Provide two (2) legend basketball goal systems, with 42" x 72" tempered glass backboards with 5"square 3/16" posts and extension arm with 5'-6" safety setback, standard goal with breakaway rim. Install post in 20" diameter hole, 48" deep encased with concrete. See attached drawing at end of section. 7. Provide four (4) force basketball goal systems with 36" x 54" tempered glass backboards with 5"square 3/16" posts and extension arm with 4'-0" safety setback, standard goal with breakaway rim. Install post in 20" diameter hole, 42" deep encased with concrete. See attached drawing at end of section. 8. After 30-day asphalt curing, patch low areas in court area with acrylic patching material, and finish court with two (2) sand filled coats of laykold acrylic resurfacer (or equal) and one (1) sand filled and one(1)finish coat of laykold color coat (or equal). Install in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. 9. Paint 2" playing lines with laykold textured white acrylic line paint (or equal), to include center court, 3 point lines, free throw lines with shooting key and out of bounds line for main court, and 3' long free throw lines for the secondary goals. Secondary goal lines to be painted in pantone 7403 cp. 10. Install lighting as provided within lighting plan. 11. Install 4” thick concrete sidewalk to allow access to the court.
