The 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan for the City of Lompoc guides the strategic investment of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The Police and Fire Chiefs presented a proposal to replace the standing Public Safety Commission structure with a series of recurring, district-based town hall forums to increase transparency, improve community trust, and enhance governance efficiency. Additionally, a member of the public provided input regarding the need for more resources dedicated to unsolved homicides.
