The new bridge abutments will be supported by steel h-piles. The roadway approaches to the bridge will be reconstructed approx. 64' to the south and 75' to the north of the new bridge to accommodate the wider structure. The new bridge will provide two lanes of traffic, five-foot shoulders, and elevated sidewalks to accommodate pedestrian traffic. The roadway profile grade will approx. Match the existing grade to prevent impacts to the i-90 interchange ramps to the north.
