The council meeting included updates on FEMA's LOMR mapping and DEQ Stormwater Projects. A request from Beach Bum Bakery to use the City's RV dump area was discussed and approved for a trial period. The council considered and approved a DEQ sub-award and an Alta Engineering contract related to stormwater system improvements. They also discussed and adopted a resolution calling for an election on the Local Option Non-Property Tax and an ordinance amending it. The council approved a BLM-Wardner Peak contract and enacted a proclamation for the Week of the Young Child. Various activity and facility requests were approved, including the Inside Enduro Parade, Silver Hoops, and the Leadman Triathlon. A town hall meeting for the Local Option Non-Property Tax was scheduled, and council members provided announcements and reports, including updates on Tractor Supply construction and library funding.
