Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit 16

The meeting included the election of board officers, approval of David Hess as the voting delegate for the 2025 PSBA Delegate Assembly, and the re-election of Lauren Hackenburg to the SEF Board of Directors. Financial matters included the approval of monthly financial statements for May 2025, revisions to the 2024-25 and proposed 2025-26 Programs and Services Budgets, and the approval of the 2025-26 Workers' Compensation Insurance Policy. The board also approved a sponsorship agreement extension with PASBO, an Affinity Partnership Agreement with ASBO, and a cooperative purchasing customer appreciation rebate for local districts. Personnel recommendations, lease agreement renewals for adult education, and a roofing restoration contract were also approved. Additionally, the board approved legal counsel for 2025-26 and authorized the Executive Committee to approve matters prior to the August 2025 board meeting. Approvals were also given for the Head Start/Early Head Start Monthly Report for April 2025, the Assurance for the Operation of Early Intervention Special Education Services and Programs for the 2025-26 school year, the 2025-26 IDEA-B Funds Application, and several contracts for services including in-school nursing, educational sign language interpretation, and therapy services. The purchase of Dell laptops and Classroom Emergency Preparedness Go-kits were also approved.
