The integrated planning explores how the IUS can bundle upgrades or distribution infrastructure with other work streams like wildfire safety, aiming to save costs by avoiding redundant work on the same assets. The workshop also touched on cost-effectiveness, risk reduction, and estimating the cost of future capacity projects.

Topics included the role of the state, tribes, local government, various agencies, and ratepayer funding. The workshop also touched on the resiliency evaluation toolkit, mapping critical infrastructure, facilities, essential services, and social demographics. Mitigation measure assessments, considering performance under hazard events and the impact on the resiliency trapezoid, were also discussed. The resiliency scorecard was introduced as an idea to recognize achievement of resiliency and state goals, providing a mechanism to identify improvements over time.
