The meeting will include a legislative outlook presentation, updates from the Chair and CalVet, committee updates (covering communications, veterans services, administration, veterans homes, legislation, home loans, and underrepresented and women veterans), and an executive officer update. Old business will cover the review of the Board Administrative Book, including member travel, election of officers, quorum, meeting conduct, agenda, publicity, and rules of decorum. New business will include receipt of new appeals and complaints.

The meeting included reports on the status of the California Veterans Homes, the CalTAP program, and updates from various divisions within CalVet. A presentation was given by the administrator of the Yountville Veterans Home. An appeal was reviewed and denied, and several new appeals were accepted for future hearings. The board also set the date for the November meeting.

A closed session will be held to deliberate on the appeals.
