The Environmental Commission discussed and approved the meeting dates for 2026. Furthermore, plans were confirmed for the partnership with the Jaycees on December 6th at the LRSH, involving Christmas trees, hot chocolate, and Santa pictures, requiring the commission to provide facility access. The commission also briefly discussed participation possibilities for the 4th of July Parade celebrating America's 250th birthday, including a potential float or historical game, and a 'Reading Across Morris County' event.

The Commission reviewed and discussed its 2026 meeting schedule, focusing on setting dates for easement requirements. Specific meeting date changes were noted, including the relocation of the February 25 meeting to March 1 and the November 18 meeting to December 4. The Commission approved expenditures for an oatmeal event planned for May 3 during Pathways, intended to educate on the Hedges-Fish farm's support for soldiers at Jockey Hollow.
