Project generally consists of complete demolition and removal of the existing hangar structure; removal and lawful off-site disposal of all demolition debris; relocation of conduit and wiring serving an existing live electrical panel; trenching and installation of the relocated electrical service underground; backfilling and restoration of disturbed areas; and final site cleanup. The existing concrete foundation/slab shall remain in place and is not included in the demolition. He contractor shall protect the existing foundation/slab from unnecessary damage throughout performance of the work. The work includes protection of the existing live electrical panel and utilities; removal and/or relocation of electrical conduit affected by demolition; trenching for underground conduit; installation and routing of electrical conductors; required connections, terminations, fittings, boxes, and related components; coordination of any necessary electrical interruption with the district; backfilling and compaction of trenches; restoration of disturbed areas; dust and debris control; and protection of adjacent district buildings, pavement, utilities, landscaping, fencing, and other improvements that are to remain.
