Cooling System Check Valve Replacement
Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), the Management and Operating Contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy's Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is issuing this Sources Sought notice seeking qualified vendors capable of designing, manufacturing, testing, and delivering four 20-inch, 300-lb tilting-disc check valves for the Advanced Test Reactor (ATR) cooling system. The valves must meet stringent ASME Section III, Division 1, Class 1 requirements, be constructed of ASTM A182 F304 or ASTM A351 CF8 stainless steel, and include integrated hydraulic dashpot mechanisms and position indicators. Responses from qualified vendors will inform a future Request for Proposal (RFP) process for award consideration.
