Y1DZ--REPLACE CHILLED WATER PUMP AT THE BOILER PLANT RFP

Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs, through Network Contracting Office 02, seeks a firm-fixed-price contractor to replace the chilled-water pump and motor at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center boiler plant in the Bronx. The work includes removing the existing equipment, installing one new pump and compatible motor, reconnecting electrical service, restoring piping insulation, startup and testing, cleanup, site restoration, closeout documentation, and an operations and maintenance orientation. This solicitation is set aside for SDVOSBs and requires VA approval of pump and motor specifications, coordination of shutdowns with VA Engineering, and use of Autodesk Build.
