Description: Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure invites bids under an Indigenous set-aside to construct a heavy-duty laydown area at the intersection of Provincial Trunk Highway 1 and Freedom Road. The approximately 5,000 m² facility will store high-tonnage aggregates and support heavy truck staging while providing protection against severe seasonal freeze-thaw cycles. Clearing is limited to a maximum of 0.5 hectares within the highway median right-of-way, including the pad footprint and drainage swales.
