Whole Geome Laboratory Information Management System (Request for Proposal)

Description: The Ohio Department of Health (ODH), Bureau of Public Health Laboratory (ODHL), is currently performing whole genome sequencing (WGS) on clinical isolates for multiple infectious disease pathogens i.e. Bacterial foodborne illness as guided by CDC-PulseNet (Salmonella, Escherichia coli, Shigella, Vibrio, Campylobacter and Listeria), Viral gastroenteritis as guided by CDC-CaliciNet (Norovirus), Antimicrobial-resistant hospital-acquired pathogens as guided by CDC-ARLN (Klebsiella, Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter, Citrobacter, Morganella), Mycobacterium tuberculosis for predicted antimicrobial drug resistance and SARS-CoV-2 virus. To support wastewater genomic surveillance within the state of Ohio, sequencing efforts for identifying SARS-CoV-2 variants in wastewater are also being performed at ODHL. The purpose of this solicitation is to provide the ODHL with LIMS software that has sample tracking and workflow management for whole genome sequencing.
