Closing soonWenger Corporation - Modular Sound-Isolation Rooms -*SOLE SOURCE*
Description: The Department of Music requires modular sound-isolation rooms that provide acoustically controlled environments for individual practice, applied instruction, small-group rehearsal, performance preparation, and related instructional activities. The rooms must substantially reduce sound transmission between adjacent spaces while providing a predictable internal acoustical environment suitable for music instruction and evaluation. The rooms must include integrated ventilation, lighting, electrical service, visibility features, and room configurations suitable for musical instruments and associated instructional equipment. Because the rooms will be installed within the existing Sands Hall facility, a modular system is required to permit future relocation, expansion, reconfiguration, or replacement without major building renovation. In addition, the Department requires compatibility with its existing Wenger SoundLok sound-isolation room installation and associated active acoustics technology currently utilized within the facility. The procurement must therefore satisfy both the operational requirements of the music program and the compatibility requirements of the existing installed infrastructure.
