Description: Brunswick Regional Water and Sewer H2GO (H2GO) currently operates and maintains twelve (12) active raw water source wells, with four (4) additional wells anticipated to come online in the near future. Each well site consists of a nested pair of production wells that discharge into a common header. The wells are installed within the Black Creek and Lower Peedee (PD) aquifers and produce brackish groundwater for treatment and within H2GO's water supply system. The production wells are generally located approximately 400 to 600 feet below land surface (BLS). Submersible well pumps are typically set at depths ranging from approximately 240 to 390 feet BLS. Pump motor sizes vary by well and currently range from approximately 75 horsepower to 300 horsepower. H2GO will provide available well, pump, and motor information to the selected contractor as necessary to support inspection, maintenance, repair, and other services required under Qualifications: Brunswick Regional Water and Sewer H2GO ("H2GO"), a sanitary district in North Carolina, invites qualified and properly licensed firms to submit proposals for inspection, maintenance, repair, and emergency services. The services will cover municipal Well Sites 1 through 8 and related pumping equipment. This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to identify the most qualified contractor(s) to perform these services in the best interest of H2GO. Special Requirements: The work to be performed under this contract shall consist of the inspection, repairing, replacing, removal, reinstallation, redevelopment, testing, and disinfection of H2GO's wells and associated pumping equipment. The Contractor shall be responsible for removing and reinstalling well pumps as required. Well redevelopment, testing, and disinfection shall be considered normal functions under this contract. Miscellaneous: Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and incidentals necessary for the completion of work in a safe, professional, and timely manner. The City of Pasadena Department of Public Works, Building Systems and Fleet Management Division (BSFMD) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive fire extinguisher inspection, maintenance, testing, certification, repair, recharging, hydrostatic testing, replacement, and related parts and support services for fire extinguishers located throughout City-owned facilities, fleet vehicles, and equipment. Services shall be provided on an as-needed and scheduled basis and performed in accordance with the latest editions of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 10, Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) requirements, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal/OSHA), manufacturer recommendations, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The resulting contract will ensure fire extinguishers remain properly inspected, maintained, tested, and ready for emergency use while minimizing operational disruptions to City facilities and fleet operations. BSFMD is responsible for maintaining fire extinguishers installed throughout City-owned facilities, fleet vehicles, and equipment to support safe and reliable municipal operations. Fire extinguishers require periodic inspection, maintenance, testing, certification, repair, recharging, hydrostatic testing, replacement, and related services to ensure compliance with applicable fire and life safety regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and industry standards. The City currently maintains approximately 1,050 portable fire extinguishers, including approximately 650 extinguishers located throughout City-owned facilities and approximately 400 extinguishers installed in fleet vehicles and equipment. Building fire extinguishers are serviced according to an annual inspection schedule organized by geographic quadrants to minimize disruptions to City operations, while fleet fire extinguishers are generally serviced at the City’s Fleet Maintenance Facility. The City reserves the right to modify service locations and schedules as operational needs require. The existing quadrant inspection program and annual service schedule are provided in the solicitation attachments. These services are essential to maintain operational readiness, protect City personnel and assets, support workplace safety, and ensure fire extinguishers remain fully functional, code compliant, and readily available for emergency use.
