Wells Harbor New Float Construction (Invitation for Bid)

Description: Work includes new float construction. Specifications: 6'-5"x 24' timber floats - channel main and inside finger sections; 6'-5" x 16' timber floats - connector floats; 15' - 9" x 24' timber float- gangway float; pile chain kits with UHMW chaffing block; delivery, launching, and installation. Flotation: all float drums to be ace roto-mold models with a polyethylene outer shell and expanded polystyrene core. All float drums have a 15-year warranty (first 10 non-prorated). Framing: all wood frame floats to be framed with 4x 8 pressure treated (pt) southern yellow pine (syp) UC4B splash zone rated treatment pcf. The perimeter of the floats will be skirted with #1 2 x 10 .UC4B pt. Syp
