Work consists of, but not limited to, the rehabilitation of the existing filtration system by replacing the filter underdrain, filter media, launder troughs, air scour delivery system within the underdrain, providing new positive displacement air scour blowers, placement of a crystalline coating system to address leaks in the concrete structure, and the addition of piping within the filter influent flume and other identified surfaces. New chemical injection points and piping will be provided at the clearwell.Other rehabilitation replacements include providing new valves and electric actuators to replace existing. The Human Machine Interface (HMI) on the existing filter control panel, electrical panels within the electrical room, turbidity instruments, filter box level indicators, and pressure head monitoring are to be replaced as well. Within the blower and electrical room, the doors shall be replaced and include landing pads to address existing drainage related sloping issues.
