Construction of both a packaged wastewater treatment plant and fire pump house (2-part bid).

Town of Blue Hill

The project includes the upgrade of two existing pump stations and the construction of one new High Tide pump station at the existing wastewater treatment plant site. Work under this project includes demolition and site clearing; structural and trench excavation, earthwork, backfill, aggregates, crushed stone and compaction; site pavement, site restoration, erosion control, utilities including sewerage, drainage and water service; chain link fence, precast concrete structures, cast-in-place concrete, wood framed structures, miscellaneous building improvements, metals, gratings and railings; steel and fiberglass doors, frames and door hardware; overhead door, windows; painting, and all equipment including packaged pump station equipment, headworks grinder, chlorine contact tank mixer, chemical pumps and flow meter equipment; installation of High Tide Pump Station equipment; gates, process piping and valves, expansion joints, pipe hangers and supports; ventilation; emergency standby generators, electrical equipment, wiring, conduits, controls, alarm and instrumentation systems.

City of Grand Saline

The project consists of replacing the aeration system, removing existing media and installing new media in existing sludge beds, refurbishing an existing raw sewage pump station, and associated items at the grand saline wastewater treatment plant.

City of Sumner

Upgrade the solids handing and solids treatment processes at the existing City of Sumner Wastewater Treatment Plant. Construct expansion to the existing Solids Handling Building, to include installation of a new indirect biosolids dryer, thermal fluid heaters, and all equipment encompassed in the biosolids dryer scope. Construct a temporary haul truck loading bay to facilitate demolition of existing facilities. Modify existing treatment systems, structures and processes to include replacement of existing thickened primary sludge pumps in the existing Scum Pump Building, demolish existing dissolved air floatation thickener and associated equipment in Equipment Building 2, and install a new rotary drum thickener and thickened waste activated sludge pumps, replace existing digested sludge pumps, replace existing thickening and dewatering polymer systems and replace existing air gap system in the thickening and dewatering polymer systems and replacement of existing air gap system in existing Solids Handling Building. Existing dewatered sludge conveyance system will also be reconfigured including rehabilitation of existing dewatered sludge storage hopper, modifications to existing conveyors (both temporary and permanent) and install new conveyors. Demolish existing waste gas burner and install new digester gas treatment system to include a hydrogen sulfide and moisture removal and digester gas compression, as well as install new enclosed waste gas flare. Replace existing submersible pumps in Plant Drain Pump Station No. 1 and the walls of existing centrate storage tank to be raised 6'. Replace internal recycle pumps and anoxic zone mixers in Aeration Basins in 1 and 2 and the effluent UV disinfection system. Install new and modify existing electrical power distribution and control equipment to support the new improvements, including the installation of new standby generator with subbase fuel tank in a sound attenuating enclosure. Construct a new hammerhead on State Street just outside the entrance tot he plant and new security fencing and access gates.
