Description: The project will include the following described construction: Furnishing and installation for the construction of the additions and modifications to the Adairville Wastewater Treatment Plant including new headworks and influent pumps, proposed aeration basin, electrical control building, blowers, piping modifications, new return activated sludge pump station, modifications to the existing aeration tanks / clarifiers, modifications to existing waste activated sludge pumps, new sludge dewatering facility, additional generator, post aeration, demolishing of existing structures, piping, equipment, plumbing, heating, ventilation, electrical, grading, and appurtenances as required for the modifications and improvements to the existing treatment plant and all other work as shown on the Construction Drawings or indicated in the Contract Specifications.

Division 1 base bid: encompass work within the wastewater treatment plant including replacement of process equipment (splitter box, blowers, air piping, diffusors, clarifier equipment and digester air system) a new generator, electrical upgrades, installation of gravity sewer piping, and construction of a new building to house the blowers and electrical components. The major work under this contract comprises the selective replacement and trenchless rehabilitation, utilizing Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP), of the existing sanitary sewer collection system, together with the complete construction and commissioning of a new extended aeration activated sludge wastewater treatment facility.
