The Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide complete design services for a grit removal system at the City Island Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope includes a grit evaluation/study, technology evaluation with at least three alternatives, design development, permitting, and preparation of construction documents to integrate the grit removal system with the existing plant. Proposals are due August 4, 2026 and the selected firm is expected to support permitting and construction-phase documentation and coordinate closely with ACUA on project requirements and schedule.
