Vision Benefits RFP

Description: Mecklenburg County is soliciting carriers to provide voluntary dual vision insurance for roughly 6,200 eligible employees and 4,700 enrolled for the 2028 plan year. Proposals should match the current plan design and include any recommended alternatives, a four-year rate guarantee, implementation credit, and GeoAccess and disruption reporting. The contract is expected to begin January 1, 2028, and last at least four years.
