The Project consists of installing a new ADA compliant handicap ramp with retaining walls and railing, retaining wall seating at the museum plaza, town clock, paver placement at the intersection, parking lot improvements to include paving, striping and wheel stops, and flagpole planter improvements. Optional items that may be included (dependent upon bid cost) are concrete removal and replacement along the parking lot, drainage installation, restriping of the existing pavement markings on additional sidewalk and curb and gutter installation.

Work consists of removal of existing 72,554 SY of asphalt pavement, base course as needed, and sections of sidewalk and curb. Installation of approx 1,787 LF of new 6" pvc c900 water main, including new service connections and fire hydrants. Construction of new pavement consisting of a structural section with 3" of asphalt concrete over existing or new aggregate base course (abc) as needed. All sidewalk and ramps will be replaced to comply with ADA standards.
