Description: DARPA seeks innovative proposals for Unison to develop and evaluate collaborative autonomy that jointly adapts team decision-making and communications during mission execution. The program will investigate how autonomous teams modify tactics, behaviors, coordination relationships, and information exchange under increasingly complex missions and constrained or degraded communications. Research will address teams of tens to hundreds of agents, seeking to preserve mission performance while reducing communications dependence and limiting individual agents’ reasoning burden.
