Work of this project can be summarized to include upgrading the existing air handlers: removing the existing fans and replacing them with fan arrays, removing abandoned heating coils, removing existing heating coils and replacing them with new heating coils, removing existing cooling coils and replacing them with new cooling coils, removing existing motorized dampers and replacing them, upgrading the existing heating water system, adding 2 gas-fired boilers for heating water backup, removing and replacing outdated split system outdoor units and associated indoor coils, removing and replacing some outdated vav terminal units and vav terminal unit hydronic connections, updating mechanical control sequences, replace and relocate the mcc electrical panel in the basement mechanical room.
