Description: Richmond Public Schools is seeking a firm-fixed-price, turnkey contract for the emergency replacement of the walk-in cooler/freezer combination at Southampton Elementary School. The contractor must provide the labor, materials, equipment, permitting, crane service, demolition, installation, and startup needed for a fully operational system, using a Harford/Kolpak unit or approved equivalent. It is the intent of these specifications to provide for a complete and fully operating system in accordance with all applicable codes. Notwithstanding that the drawings and specifications may not cover each and every item required for the complete works, the general contractor shall be responsible for all labour, materials, tools, equipment and transportation necessary for the complete installation, testing and commissioning of the work on-site and to turn over a fully functional and operational system. See work sequence for detail description of scope of work.
