Transfer Station Hauling and Disposal Services

Description: Hauling and disposal of municipal solid waste from the City transfer station at 194 Fisher Avenue. The contractor furnishes six transfer trailers with catwalks and the equipment to move them, hauls loaded trailers to a permitted disposal facility named in the bid, and keeps at least two empty trailers on site. One all-inclusive price per ton for each calendar year, 2027 through 2029, with two one-year City options (2030 and 2031). Service begins January 2027. What Is Being Bid • Six open-top transfer trailers of about 100 cubic yards, each with a working tarp and a catwalk, assigned to the City at all times, with at least two empty on site during operating hours. • Maneuvering equipment, hauling, and disposal at a permitted facility named in the bid. • Approximately 8,000 tons per year (estimate only, not guaranteed). • Named account, operations, dispatch, after-hours and executive contacts, each with a backup.
