Summary
San Francisco International Airport, through its design-builder Swinerton/Corgan, is soliciting subcontractor prequalification and bids for Trade Package TP-1006 (Specialties – Digital Signs) as part of the Wayfinding Enhancement Program Phase 2. The selected subcontractor will furnish and install new digital and static wayfinding elements—including UL-certified, IP67-rated fully assembled digital signs, metal frames, support posts, anchorage, and electrical/data (plug-and-play) connections—at nine AirTrain stations. The scope is split into Package #1 (Base Bid, four stations with full digital signs) and Package #2 (Add Alternate, five stations with specialty metal frames for static and digital signs), with a 20% CMD LBE participation requirement and an estimated cost of $4.5 million.
