Texas Conservation & Sustainability Initiative RFP

Description: The Texas Conservation and Sustainability Initiative is a USDA-NRCS-funded program, that provides financial incentives to help state farmers, ranchers, and foresters adopt conservation practices that improve soil health and long-term productivity. TCSI is designed for state commodity producers with crops, livestock, forestry products, or other agricultural goods for sale. Eligible operations include row crops, orchards, grazing lands, hay production, vegetable operations, and forests. Working lands must be located in the state and participants can obtain technical assistance and earn incentives up to $100,000 for implementing conservation practices.
