SWVPP - FY27 Community-Based Provider Application

Description: The Iowa Department of Education is issuing this FY27 Community-Based Provider Application to approve eligible providers to operate Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program (SWVPP) classrooms serving four-year-old children for the 2026-2027 school year. Interested community-based providers must submit an application via IowaGrants meeting foundational requirements including a licensed teacher, a suitable location, SmartTeach GOLD assessment capability, and an appropriate student information system. Approved providers will receive state funding based on initial student enrollment counts, with a certified enrollment count conducted on October 1, 2026 and subsequent reconciliation.
