Description: NIST issued a Sources Sought (market research) to identify vendors that can provide a Compact 1156 nm Fiber Laser and related acoustic-optical modulators to support a portable optical clock effort. The notice requests capability statements (limit 4 pages) and specification/data sheets and asks responders to state country of manufacture; it is explicitly NOT a Request for Proposals/Quotes and does not commit the government to award. Delivery is required within 12 weeks after receipt of order and NIST may later post a solicitation on SAM.gov based on the market research results.
