Description: DESCRIPTION: Remove & Replace Insulation on All Overhead Chilled Water Piping at Varennes Elementary SCOPE of WORK: Anderson School District Five would like to contract with a vendor to Remove & Replace All Pipe Insulation on Overhead Chilled Water Piping at Varennes Elementary. The successful contractor shall assume all responsibilities associated with this contract including but not limited to all labor fees, federal, state, city or town required business license(s), permits, insurance, fuel, supplies and any other expenses required to carry out the requirement of this solicitation (if/when applicable). Award will be to one vendor. BID SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Remove & Replace all overhead pipe insulation on existing chilled water piping at Varennes Elem. 2. See accompanying asbestos report. 3. Vendor is responsible for all measurements. 4. Work will need to be completed during school break or after school hours. 5. If after hours, work site must be cleaned and ready for use before leaving each day. 6. Site visit: See page 1 for details. 7. All meetings require prior notice of 24 business hours. 8. Before leaving each day, site must be cleaned up and all trash disposed of off-site. 9. No tobacco products of any kind on school grounds 24/7/365. 10. ALL CONTRACTORS MUST SIGN-IN AT THE FRONT OFFICE PRIOR TO WORK EACH DAY. 11. Start date: To be determined based on school break. 12. Offers must be held open for a minimum of forty-five (45) calendar days after the Opening Date. A minimum of three (3) current references is required (K-12 school district clients preferred). Contractors must secure SLED criminal background checks for employees working on District property and participate in E-Verify. Contractor must be properly licensed at bid time and include license copy with bid. Insurance and other standard South Carolina public procurement provisions apply.
