On Wednesday, December 2, 2026, at 10:00am in the Boardroom (2nd floor) at the East Goshen Township Building located at 1580 Paoli Pike in West Chester, PA, sealed bids will be opened for the following: Signs and Posts: PA DOT-approved for traffic control, street signs, and posts. Specifications are available on the East Goshen Township website. All bids must be submitted on forms provided by the Township. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids. EAST GOSHEN TOWNSHIP Kevin M. Miller Director of Public Works. Specifications: A) All signs shall be PA DOT-approved. B) All signs to be pre-punched for mounting. C) All signs to be constructed with hi-intensity sheeting. D) General: 1) Performance bond or certified check for 50% of the grand total price must be supplied within 30 days after notification of the award of the contract. 2) All hardware to be supplied with breakaway posts. 3) Unit prices to include all shipping and delivery charges. 4) All items shall be delivered to East Goshen Township, 1580 Paoli Pike, West Chester, PA 19380. 5) All quantities are estimated. 6) Bidders must bid all items. 7) Signs and posts must be delivered to the East Goshen Township building within thirty (30) calendar days from the date the order is placed. Liquidated damages for late delivery are specified (first offense: written warning; second through fifth offense: 10% reduction of order price; sixth offense: contract termination). Price schedule and item quantities/specifications are included in the bid form. The MS-970 municipal bid/proposal form and performance bond form (MS-970) are attached to the bid package and describe additional contract terms, insurance and bond requirements.
