The board convened for a closed session to conduct a Level III grievance hearing for Sonia Guerra. Following the session, the board reconvened in open session before adjourning.

The board conducted a public hearing regarding the proposed tax rate. Key actions included the approval of several Request for Proposals (RFPs) related to special education equipment, athletic supplies, and fine arts equipment, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding for an adult education program. The board conducted a workshop session focusing on the 2026-2027 budget. Key discussion topics included an update on employee benefits, covering the health plan, pharmacy plan, workers' compensation, and unemployment compensation, as well as a review of recurring cost growth and long-term financial sustainability.

The meeting focused on the canvassing of the bond election results held earlier in the month, with the board formally approving the resolution and the order declaring those results. Additionally, the board recognized the outgoing board president for his service and contributions, and proceeded to nominate and elect new officers for the positions of board president, vice president, and secretary.
