Site 1-Myrtle Avenue Guardrail Repairs

Description: Repair bridge handrail. Construct new concrete slab mounted I-Beam posts with hardware and without blocks in the southeast corner of the center median. The slabs shall be 2'x3'x12". Set four 7/8" x 14" adhesive-bonded anchors with heavy hex nuts and washers in 11" drilled holes so that the post anchor plate is centered on the slab. Shim with washers around anchors as required to maintain tolerance. The adhesive anchors shall be headless anchor bolts set in drilled holes with an adhesive material system in accordance with FDOT Specification Section 416 and 937; drilled holes shall be 1/8" larger in diameter than the anchor bolts. Expansion bolts are not permitted.
