Seymour No. 4 Dam Improvements RFP

Description: Replace the existing spillway with a concrete drop inlet strucure with 48" discharge pipe and energy dissipator at the downstream end. A new 16" outlet pipe controlled by a stainless steel slide gate will be installed in the drop inlet spillway structure. Installation of a new valve and extension stem on the existing low level outlet upstream of the dam at the bottom of the reservoir. Trees will be cleared from the embankments and the downstream slope will be filled in the vicinity of the new spillway discharge pipe and energy dissipator. Eroded areas on the crest will be repaired, the crest will be raised one foot. Riprap will be placed on the upstream slope. Construction of a 100-LF long auxiliary spillway with concrete core wall. Clear trees and stumps from left dike, topsoil and seed with grass.
