Seismic Data Acquisition Services RFP
Request for Proposal for Seismic Data Acquisition Services.
Description: The Contractor shall acquire and process a nodal seismic survey using either an explosive or weight drop source, with a concurrent passive (ambient-noise) recording component. The Client requests pricing for: (1) a single 2D transect, with separate line-item pricing for both active-source options (to allow the Client to balance pricing and permitting considerations when selecting a source); and (2) a 3D passive survey of one-month duration. The active-source survey comprises a short Test Phase for parameter selection followed by a Production Phase (Sections 3.8–3.9). Site access and conditions (see Section 3.2) preclude the use of heavy Vibroseis sources; the Client is also willing to discuss alterative active-source seismic sources and acquisition strategy (if applicable).

The following tasks are to install vehicle data recorders and associated equipment in order to improve driver performance and to decrease the frequency and severity of motor vehicle collisions. The equipment must be rugged and durable enough to withstand the harsh weather and road environments in Africa and other indicated locations. This contract will be focused on improvement and will also require certain reporting requirements, meetings, and training sessions to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and to train personnel. Vehicle Data Recorders: The vehicle data recorders must be able to be mounted on the windshield behind the rearview mirror (using vendor provided brackets) but not significantly block the view through the windshield. For armored vehicles, the vehicle data recorder cannot be mounted to the windshield and must be mounted (using vendor provided brackets) to the bracket that holds the rearview mirror. The power cables for the unit must be hidden from view and wired in a neat and orderly manner without any loose wires. The power consumption for the unit must not drain the vehicle battery overnight with an option to set the unit to hibernate. The brackets that attach the unit, and the power cable to the unit, must be tamper resistant and require a Torx or other special tool for removal. See attached file.
