The City is soliciting work for bicycle and pedestrian safety improvements at multiple Mountain View intersections. The project description calls for a Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon at Rengstorff Avenue and Junction Avenue, high-visibility crosswalk striping and markings and advance warning signage, plus Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, crosswalk upgrades, and ADA ramp upgrades at West Middlefield Road and Terra Bella Avenue, and Cuesta Drive and Bonita Avenue. “Grant/Sleeper” refers to the Grant Road and Sleeper Avenue improvement project; this is an infrastructure project, not a grant program.
