RICHMOND HIGHWAY BRT – CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR PREQUALIFICATION RFP

Description: Fairfax County is soliciting project-specific pre-bid qualification applications for construction of the Richmond Highway Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project, along Richmond Highway and North Kings Highway between Fort Belvoir and the Huntington Metrorail Station. The work includes an approximately 6.75-mile median-running transitway, nine enhanced stations, intersection and traffic-signal reconstruction, bridges and pedestrian/bicycle facilities, and water and sewer relocations. Only pre-qualified firms will receive the later construction bid solicitation, where price competition and contract award will occur.
