Summary
The City of Coachella is soliciting qualified Design/Build/Operate entities to design, renovate, and operate a Community Resilience Center by converting an existing packinghouse (about 17,800 sq ft on a 2.09-acre lot) into a multi-use facility serving emergency operations, shelter, cooling center, commercial demonstration kitchen, office/commercial space, classrooms, demonstration gardens and related community functions. The selected entity will provide full design and permitting (structural, electrical, architectural, landscape, civil) for interior and exterior improvements and then operate the CRC as an operational partner for a minimum of two years post-completion. Proposers must complete a required pre-qualification questionnaire and submit proposals by July 23, 2026 (questions due by July 9, 2026 via a.simmons@coachella.org).
