Description: REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR ATTORNEY SERVICES The City of Safford, Arizona (City), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) and fee proposals from qualified attorneys or law firms to provide legal counsel to the City Council, City Manager, and staff to support municipal operations under the City's Council-Manager form of government. The City must receive your SOQ with fee proposal before 5:00 p.m. local time, Monday, November 30, 2026. Select only one of the previous options, but all Submittals must be marked on the outermost packaging or subject line of email with: "Contains RFQ Submittal for City Attorney Services". Any Submittals received at or after 5:00 p.m. local time will be disqualified. A complete copy of the Request for Statements of Qualifications is available in digital format on the City's website; cityofsafford.us, once registered. All Submittals will be evaluated based on criteria explicitly stated in the RFQ documents and on compliance with the request. The City of Safford reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Submittals, and waive any informality deemed in the best interest of the City and to reject the Submittals of any persons who have been unfaithful in any contract with the City.
