6000003306 - Design and Construction of JFK Farmers Substation #2 (Request for Qualifications)

Description: DESIGN-BUILD. Perform the complete design, construction, and commissioning of a new 47MVA substation and all associated components for the Farmers Substation #2. Design and construction of Farmers Substation #2, to be located within a building which is visible to the public, which includes 27kV, and 15kV switchgears and six transformers each rated to be 10/14 MVA, and other facilities required for the Project. The Farmers Substation #2's transformers shall be placed on outdoor transformer bays. Commissioning of Farmers Substation #2. The Contractor shall coordinate with and commission the Project in a manner that is fully coordinated with the Port Authority's commissioning agent in order to allow for their oversight, review, and approval of such commissioning and Substantial Completion of the Project; Design and construction of required duct-banks, cables and connections necessary for the operation of the new electrical substation. Also design and construction of required systems including but not limited to SCADA, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Protection and HVAC systems.
