Municipal Financial Software (Request for Qualifications)

Description: Provide financial software for the Town. The Town is located in the southern tier with a population of approx. 25,500 residents. It is an SB2 town operating under a Town Administrator/Board of Selectmen (5) form of government and provides a full range of municipal services, including police, fire, public works, water, sewer, planning and development, recreation, and general government services with an annual budget of approximately 48 million dollars. The Town of Hudson NH is seeking qualifications-based proposals from experienced vendors for an integrated financial software solution and its related installation, configuration, data conversion/migration, implementation, training and commissioning of the software including development of user acceptance training, system integration and connectivity to existing resources and ongoing maintenance, training and support. The goal is to implement centralized and optimized financial software to record, make reports, develop historical analysis and provide forecasting for future decision making. Proposals to provide accounting software are expected to include Budgeting, Payroll, Utility Billing, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Receipting, General Ledger, Fixed Assets and other activities typical of a municipality. The software needs to be able to support the creation of Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) compliant financial reports, and on-demand, customizable reports to assist with financial transparency and daily operations.
