Hauling and beneficial use of dewatered biosolids (sewage sludge) processed at the Owner's Biosolids Facility. The bid is based on the following amount of biosolids to be transported from the treatment plant and beneficially used; lesser or greater quantities may be generated throughout the contract period. Approximately 700 Tons (23 to 25 percent solids (?)) of anaerobically digested and dewatered bio solids per week (over seven days) including holi days. Beneficial use shall mean the land application of biosolids as a fertilizer or soil conditioner. Treatment of biosolids prior to beneficial use shall be at the bidder's option. Use as daily landfill cover or incineration is not an acceptable beneficial use option.
