Description: VILLAGE OF MONTICELLO, NEW YORK REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) DeHoyos Memorial Park Pool House Painting and Bathroom Wall Installation Issuing Agency: Village of Monticello, New York Project Location: DeHoyos Memorial Park Pool, Monticello, NY RFP Issue Date: October 22, 2026 Proposal Submission Deadline: November 16, 2026 1. PURPOSE The Village of Monticello is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide painting services for the pool house and install waterproof walls in the bathrooms at DeHoyos Memorial Park Pool. The purpose of this project is to improve the appearance and condition of the pool house facilities. 2. SCOPE OF WORK The selected contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and services necessary to complete the following work. A. Pool House Painting • Prepare surfaces for painting as necessary. • Complete painting of the designated pool house areas. • Protect existing fixtures, floors, and surrounding areas during the work. • Clean the work area upon completion. B. Bathroom Wall Installation • Install waterproof walls in the pool house bathrooms. • Assess existing conditions and identify any issues that may affect the work. • Notify the Village of any additional work that may be necessary before proceeding. C. Project Completion • Remove construction debris and leave the work areas clean upon completion. • Coordinate the work schedule with the Village. • Complete all work in accordance with applicable codes and requirements. 3. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS Interested contractors shall submit the following: 1. Business name and contact information. 2. Description of relevant experience and qualifications. 3. Itemized proposal outlining the anticipated cost of the work. 4. Estimated project timeline and completion date. 5. Proof of applicable insurance coverage. 6. References from comparable projects. Contractors may contact the Village to arrange a site visit before submitting a proposal. 4. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION Proposals must be submitted no later than November 16, 2026. EVALUATION AND SELECTION Proposals will be evaluated based on cost, contractor qualifications, relevant experience, proposed timeline, and overall value to the Village. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and select the proposal determined to be in the best interests of the Village, subject to applicable law and procurement requirements. 6. GENERAL CONDITIONS All work must be coordinated with the Village before commencement. No additional work or charges beyond the approved proposal may be undertaken without prior written authorization from the Village. The selected contractor must provide all required documentation and execute any necessary agreements before work begins. 7.
