RFP - DPW - Pipe Truck on Chassis w/Crane

Description: The City of Claremont's Department of Public Works is soliciting formal proposals for the purchase of one (1) new Class 5 utility service truck equipped with a crane service body for use by the Department of Public Works. The completed vehicle shall be suitable for municipal utilty, highway, water, wastewater, fleet maintenance, and public works operations. The truck shall be new, current production, and fully compliant with all applicable federal and state regulations. Attached are the specifications for this deck over equipment trailer and a bid sheet to submit your proposal. * Proposals will be accepted at the Office of the City Manager, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743, and must be received by November 30th, 2026 @ 11:00AM. * Bid opening date will be Wednesday, December 2nd, 2026 at 11:00AM, located in City Council Chambers, 58 Opera House Square, Claremont, NH 03743. * Please mark "RFP - DPW - Water Pipe Truck" on the outside of the sealed envelope. Unsealed, late, emailed, or faxed proposals will not be accepted. Please contact the Department of Public Works at (603) 542-7020 for additional information. Persons submitting proposals should note on the bid sheet any deviations from the specifications. Persons submitting should also note any options that in their opinion would be mission critical for its use in a municipal public works department. Any recommended options should be priced separately. Included in your bid, should be the proposed delivery date. The City of Claremont reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to accept the proposal to be in the City's best interest.
